Top Kitchen and Bath Trends

Date postedAugust 10, 2023
in

The top trends in today’s kitchens and baths were showcased at the recent International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City.  Homeowners (in name of service territory) can capitalize on these trends to create the kitchens and baths of their dreams.

Wellness was front and center at ICFF and certainly on trend with homeowners (in name of service territory) who recognize that they can create in-home sanctuaries in their primary baths where they can spend a few minutes all to themselves, devoid of texts, tweets or even the demands of little feet.  Adding softer touches to your bathroom to style the space in a way that is the most inviting is another hot trend known as bathscaping. Bathscaping for homeowners (in name of service territory) may include styling around sculptural soaking tubs and shower steam systems equipped with aromatherapy, audiotherapy, chromatherapy and message therapies.  These trends were ever-present in ICFF education programs and on the exhibit floor because they promote health and wellbeing.

Sustainable and ecofriendly design and materials were front and center at ICFF.  Vanities made from recycled materials, renewal resources and manufacturers incorporating eco-friendly processes were in the spotlight. There were tubs at ICFF made from soy and a mineral composite that the manufacturer claims are eco-friendly.

Organic forms and curves were another ICFF bath and furniture trend.  Soft, curvaceous shapes are making a comeback.  In the bath, organic forms and shapes were found in a wide spectrum of products ranging from drawer pulls to soaking tubs.  Organic forms provide kitchens and baths with a sense of fluidity and elegancy that serves as a foil to the rigidity of straight lines.

Metal finishes were prevalent on the ICFF show floor.  Several manufacturers introduced gray-black, gunmetal and black onyx finishes.

Workstation sinks that feature built-in colanders, cutting boards, sieves and other convenient prep tools will continue to increase in popularity among homeowners (in name of service territory) for many good reasons.  Foremost among the are workstation sinks save valuable countertop space and make meal preparation and clean up easier

Technology integration into cabinets, furniture, mirrors and other pieces continues to evolve.  Cabinets with built-in charging stations, fixtures with wireless connectivity and smart home integration will continue to grow in popularity among homeowners (in name of service territory).

There were numerous bath vanities, vessel sinks, apron-front kitchen sinks and tile featuring fluting and ribbed textures that enable homeowners (in name of service territory) to add character and a unique look to kitchens and baths.

How can you capitalize on the products and styles that are trending now to create a dream bath or kitchen that can withstand the test of time?  Give us a call at (phone) or make an appointment to visit our showroom at (address) and let us show you how to make your dreams a reality.
